So this week, like every other on a mission, was a roller coaster.
So Sister Santillano was sick this week, so we didn’t get in as many visits as usual. And it’s hard with everyone’s work schedules, and summer, and all those other things. It’s kind of a struggle right now because we don’t have any progressing investigators, and the ones we think are interested, or prepared, or ready, cancel their appointments. But, as long as we do everything we can, that’s all that matters.
I am now down to one companion. Sister Cabrales decided to go home 😦 She was having some health problems, but its still sad. She is awesome, and I’m sure she’ll do great in whatever she decides to do.
Spanish is a little bit easier every day. Every day I can understand a little bit more, and talk a little bit more. The people here are amazingly understanding about it. And super patient with me. So that’s really great.
We had exchanges this week, so I went to Kimberly with Hermana Dax, one of the Sister Training Leaders. She’s super awesome and gave me a ton of advice about all of the questions I had.
We do have one family of amazing investigators. They are so ready. The only problem is the couple isn’t married, and they are moving this week 😦 BUT They are returning in August! And they want to keep going to church and talking with missionaries even in California, so I’m sure that some amazing things will come of that. We’re just hoping they don’t lose that desire, because this when satan works the hardest.
Well I love you all! I hope you have an amazing week! Stay strong. Remember God loves you.
